he's okay! (mostly)

Got back from a gig weekend. Bistro is getting about pretty well - just isn't using that foot. It's the same temp as his other feet. He's eating and drinking. I just put a bottle-cap full of skim milk in there and he seems to like it. I guess he really DOES know what he needs. He wil get lots of fresh foods, vitamin-fortified mix, and I'm going out tomorrow after my hearing to get him a mineral block to lick, in case he wants to. whew.

UPDATE: He just did a few turns in the little wheel. Not very fast, and not for very long, but I almost cried I was so relieved.

With friends like these...

I had always thought myself safe from Christophe the Insulter, because all my friends are poor.

What I had not considered was that there are rather a lot of them.

You know, it never would have occurred to me to rhyme "Sodom and Gomorrah" with "Labia Minora"...
