Misc. Ramblings
Sep. 15th, 2004 09:49 pmThank goodness it's finally raining. It's been sticky all day - even my hamster looked sweaty and rumpled.
Why do all the shoes out now have those absurd pointy-toes? I, at least, don't have pointy feet! I calculate that finding a pair of those I could actually get my wide feet into would mean they would be 16" long.
No matter how much I wish it, leaving dishes in water in the sink does NOT count as washing them.
Beth - I will not permit myself to begin work on my dress for the wedding until your skirt (and little prize for waiting so long) is in the mail.
It's nice to have a Minstrosi-break. Everyone is tired, and every time we suggest new stuff, no one actually practices it. Give everybody some time off, so we come back and it's fun again. A LOT of deadlines this season. I still have to write the generic promo-letter for next season, though...
I remember the little cluster of shack-like buildings we had the first Gulf Coast Ren Faire at. I suspect they won't be there much longer - there is no way they will stand up to Ivan.
