well sorta....
Lipton/Knorr Asian Sesame nodles with a chicken breast shopped up in there and a biiig handful of frozen snow peas plus assorted other frozen veggies. Threw the chopped raw chicken in with the package o' stuff, simmered according to package directions. Then tossed in the frozen veggies and simemred long enoigh to heat thru (so they are still a bit crunchy).
mmmmm. and healthy too. *does a little dance*
Today at work was SOOOOO frustrating. My second day with my office-mate out and I had hoped to get a lot done, but I spent large portions of it watitng while our supposed tech guy and the IT contractor did 'things'. They uninstalled and reinstalled and moved settings and things, and the net result was that I STILL can't run the reports I need to - it's just a different error message now. I can run them signed on as me on anyone else's box, but not on mine. Grrr. I was actually sitting there reading for a while, once I finished my filing, because EVERYTHING else needed the 'puter.
AND even oncethey did all there whole lotta net-nothing, my signatures and templates were gone. I even SHOWED the guy where they were once we signed back in as the "old" me, but the twit couldn't find them. Wasted 45 minutes there, and then around 4:30 he announced "Well, I can't find them and it's time for me to go", and he left. WTF? And yes, I went in and did it myself. What a waste of a paycheck this guy is. And I can't wait to seet he reactions to the 2.5 hours of "overhead" time I logged today, while I was unable to accomplish anything.
BTW they have hired a new Membership person and he starts on the 13th. I'm kind of glad they hired a guy - I do MUCH better with male bosses and co-workers. I always feel like I missed some sprt of sooper-sekrit 'girl' lessons while growing up, so I never know how I'm supposed to react to touchy-feely management stuff. Generally I have found that males are more interested in the job getting done than how it is done. And as an older woman in a support position I can take the "den mother" route, and be respected for my skills but mostly left alone. Which is exactly how I like to work. So I'll be supporting the only two men in the office that are not the President or the annoying IT dude. And their immediate manager thinks I'm cooler than sliced bread and tempered steel. So as long as I don't end up in jail for throttling the IT guy with a USB cable, things should be okay.
That last one is a big "if", though....
