First day on the job
Feb. 27th, 2007 12:14 pmOw I have a headache! It's pretty dark at my desk, and the Pres has teenytiny chickenscratch handwriting. We'll be ordering a lamp later today, but I'm pretty sure we can't do anything about the handwriting :)
Slowly gearing up on the 1st day here at Plato Foufas. I keep startling myself because a (plastic) waxwork of a young Frank Sinatra is standing about 3 feet from my desk, and I keep catching it out of the corner of my eye and thinking someone is waiting for my attention. So far I've been filing, typing, moving stuff to where it makes sense for me, and forgetting everyone's names!
I can check my ripco e-mail a couple of times a day, but won't have IM access. I won't have my work e-mail or VM until later today or tomorrow.
