Went to the dentist
May. 1st, 2007 01:16 pmGood news - all of my teeth are fine. Yay for brushing!
Bad news - one of my old fillings isn't.
Apparently an upper molar filling is chipped and starting to unravel, and being as it's a pretty big one this is a matter of some concern. So I have to go in fairly short order to get the silver filling yanked out and a new porcelain one put in. Put it off too long and we might have to get a crown instead. No funs.
But at least I have a decent dental plan which will pay 80%, and I got a full set of nifty-wifty digital x-rays (very cool) so we're pretty sure that's the only issue.
So I'm back next Tuesday after work to get the nasty thing replaced. And my teeth are all clean!
EDIT - poo. The filling is so bad that it's considered almost a crown, so my insurance only pays 50%. Still, $371 is better than no insurance at all, and they take plastic.
