Dear LOST;

I think we should see other people.

We used to be great together. I staked out Wednesday nights for you. I had the "Is LOST a repeat tonight" Yahoo Widget on my desktop. I even played that online "Experience" game all summer - even through the whole "Apollo Bar" mess.

And even though I loathe Jack and Kate with a passion usually reserved for beings with more than 8 legs, I made excuses for you to my friends. "It's just a phase" I said. "He'll grow out of it". "Hurley is soooo cool!".

But it's just not the same any more. Oh, I know you've been trying lately. Last week's wasn't actually bad. Desmond IS pretty hot sometimes. I really don't want Charlie to die. And I AM vaguely curious to see what Ben tells Locke about the island's history tonight.

Oh, we can still be friends. I'll probably stop by on most Wednesdays, and I may even download the eps I miss.

But tonight, I have a hot date with Secret Files of the Inquisition.

second trip outside

I took Pepper outside for about half an hour after work today. I picked up an X-pen for $30 off Craigslist - it's a bit taller and much lighter than the one I made from NIC cubes.

The first time I took her out about a week ago, she mostly sat in the shade and groomed. Didn;t seem to excited about it. Even hid in the carrier for quite a while before coming out.

This time she was much more excited. Probably not just because it's now a new thing any more, but also buns are more active around sunset anyway. (I saw 2 wild ones out tonight while walking the block from the bus stop.) She bounced around and did a LOT of nibbling. Yummy grass and clover and completely demolished that poor dandelion. Sometimes she would stand up on her hind legs to look-and-sniff around. We met a couple of people who were very curious about her - nobody makes friends like a bunny.

But even outdoors she is still my little princess-bunny. She apparently HATES having wet feet, and while bouncing around she was also trying to flick the water off them. Mostly on me.

Yay for bunnies in the sun!
