I have a D8 in my bra.

We needed to decide who gets the beds on the gig trip next weekend, there are 4 of us, and I couldn't find aD4 (the dice bowl fell off the shelf last week and some are still under the couch). I ran out of pockets as I was packing stuff to take to rehearsal this afternoon, and with 36DDs in a shelf-type sports bra, there is that convenient little gap in the middle. I figured if I tucked it in there I wouldn't forget it.

I'm a sap

but an angry sap.

I've mentioned before that I'm a huge fan of "Extreme Makeover - Home Edition". Pretty houses for deserving families - I watch it with a box of tissues in one hand and sniffle all the way through.

Tonight's episode was a woman who adopted 3 kids and then had one of her own. Two of the kids are HIV positive, and one of those also has Aspergers. They live in a small town in upstate New York. They got a really nice house (The old one had a sinking foundation and was cracking all over the place), and the design team also built a rec facility for a new location of Camp Heartland - a camp for kids and families dealing with HIV and AIDS.

But what got me was when she was talking about how much prejudice and discrimination the kids face every day. Come on people - It's been 20 years at least since this shit first hit the news! You'd think people would have the facts by now! Apparently not. Within the past few years the kids were kicked out of the community pool because some people were afraid. They are harassed in school, and the teachers are just as bad as the other kids.

10-15 years ago, it was borderline understandable. People didn't know what AIDS was or how it was transmitted. But we supposedly live in an advanced and civilized country - it makes me mad that there is still that kind of small-minded discrimination going on - against KIDS for gods' sake! How messed up do you have to be to pass moral judgement on a 5-year-old!
