update on my little plague-bunny
Aug. 2nd, 2008 10:50 amWe're topped out on the VPI policy for pasteurella for the year, and she shows every sign that this is going to be a chronic issue for her, so when I took her in today we talked about a longer-term treatment plan for her.
Since she is tolerating the chloro-whatsits so well we're going to keep her on it for 2 months this time (with the probiotic as well). We also have a supplement for her because she has started and stopped her summer molt so many times because of the stress that she's all itchy and flaky. It should be fine to dose her on a modified schedule because of my travel, so no need to worry about finding a pet-sitter.
She's just happy that there is again a little blob of (drug-laced) applesauce at every meal.
