Now on YouTube!
Feb. 27th, 2009 10:57 pmSearch for Chicago Maritime Festival on YouTube and you will now find many videos from the past 6 years of the Chicago Maritime Festival.
(which is also taking place this weekend at the Chicago History Museum.
woody_whistlerand I will be performing as part of the All-Hands sets and with the Old Town School Sea Music Alumni and I suspect I will be part of the "Bawdy Sea Songs" workshop as well)
The videos are mostly from the concert performances and a couple of workshops. If you click on any of the All-Hands vids from 2005 and later, I'm the fat chick in the front row.
(Note to self - wear darker shirt tomorrow).
And for the love of rum, will SOMEONE make sure I'm not standing near the microphone again this year? I project too well because I'm not used to being miked anywhere but the studio. The 2007 vid of 'Pique La Baliene' sounds like a trio between Philippe, Phillippe, and me, despite the 20 other people on that stage. Although the byplay as I'm utterly failing to sneak the cheat sheets to Bounding Main is worth a look.
