May. 4th, 2009 12:44 pmStill wobbly - mostly because of a couple of days in bed rather than still being sick. Not going to go hauling around any file boxes today, but getting things done at a reasonable rate.
It was nice to go outside and sit in the sun at lunch. Weather was lovely all weekend but except for one brief watering expedition I was a good little possible plague source and stayed inside. Meh. Was feeling better by Saturday night - I was so bored I actually vacuumed my entire apartment! I like PBS but it was getting a bit old by then - although Dr. Who was a fun one.("ignore the shooty-dog-thing!")
I have 2 pairs of new glasses. My prescription went up a tad, and I got 2 new pairs (once with matching clip-on sunglasses) from Zenni Optical for $12.95 each (incl. reflective coating). They aren't fast - we're talking 3 weeks or so, but the quality is decent and you can't beat the price. I like that there are small frames available - I have a tiny head. Yes you don't get to try them on, but I found a style that works for me and if I get a second one that isn't as flattering, well you always need spares.
