Figures - the day I HAVE to go out and do laundry because I'm out of EVERYTHING is the first snow of the season. Mixed snow and rain, and howling winds. I feel really sowwy for the people trying to travel in this - the first snow is always the worst because everyone has forgotten how to drive in it!

Cough getting less but still quite sick. Sore-throated and shaky. Going out is gonna suck, but I shall armor myself with thoughts of warm clean sheets and hot soup. I [heart] Safeway's Cravin' Crab & Corn Chowder. It's a lot like what I had at Fisherman's Wharf, but spicer. Yeah, I know that me saying that isn't much- I'm a spice wimp.

Am touched - somebeody put ME on the list of stuff they are thankful for. ::blush:: see - I aM usIng tHe capital lettErs You senT ME!

Am doing absolutley nothing for the holiday - lots of sleep and intermittent cleaning fits.

Got a question for you. I got a call from a friend that needs a job and I think she would like what you discribed as your job. Do you know if they are taking applications in the Mpls/StP area?

It's a travel job, so it doesn't matter where you are, because you won't be there much. But training is in less than a week. business-days-time, so there'd be no time to be processed before then. And I know they call off this stuff for the holidays since they need every screener actually at the airports.

If I find out at training that more people are needed, I will let you know.
