wendyzskiWent for drinks after work to welcome the new COO. Lord, we are a loud and giggly bunch. I was still not feeling up to snuff, but figured face time was needed, so I sipped my Guinness, ate assorted fried things, and left when the first group packed it in.
I'm not specifically 'sick' feeling, but I'm kind of out of it, either too hot or too cold, bumping into stuff, and achy. Obviously something is going on, but I'm hoping a quiet weekend and lots of rest will finish heading it off.
Deciding if I want to eat something. I certainly had enough calories at dinner, but am wondering if a food group or two might be an idea. Maybe some edamame would be right.
Oh - the direct deposit from work finally made its way back to the payroll company. It didn't send a postcard or anything, so we're not sure where it was been, but it never actually made it to Chase.I hope it had a nice trip.
