but it's covered with snow. The screens have been driven full. But I can sort of peek out the top to see that we have about 3" on top of cars and it's still coming down like gangbusters. At about a 50 degree angle. Yeah, not looking forward to going out.

And the main living room radiator only heats 1/3 and the knob doesn't turn, so I'll have to place a call on that in a few.

Could be worse I know - accidents all over the place and thousands of people without power. I'll prolly be a lot less grumpy once I actually GET to work

Wow. If it snowed like that here things would just...stop.

Instead, we have, MORE rain. Blah!

3 inches? HA. We had at least a foot of snow on the driveway when I left for work this morning, including up against the back door. Nothing like having to make a running tackle at a door to shove it open to start your day with a bang. I so wanted to be making a giant snow fort instead of digging out my truck. Of course when I got to work (almost on time, even!) I found a vmx from our boss advising us all to stay home until the roads were clear.

When I get home, I'm starting that fort.

Wheee!

Exactly - the rain-snow line ran from NNE-SSW and directly through downtown Chicago. There is maaaaybe 2" on the patio of the building across the street from my office in River North, 3-4" at my apartment, O'Hare had 6.2" etc.
