Got 'Mistral's Kiss' from the library this afternoon. Laurel Hamilton's latest pornnovel.

I'm on page 123 and no one has gotten dressed yet. Sigh.

Well, see, I remember when the Anita Blake novels were funny smart supernatural detective stories with a short female who kicked ass. I got 'Bloody Bones' in my freebie bag at World Fantasy Con and really liked it.

Then it all downshifted into porn and I was sad. But I kept buying them. Until now.

My husband reads them like CANDY. I tell him he's reading Erotica and he says "noooo I'm reading a HORROR novel! I found it in the HORROR section"

I just roll my eyes at that.
