First day on the job

Ow I have a headache! It's pretty dark at my desk, and the Pres has teenytiny chickenscratch handwriting. We'll be ordering a lamp later today, but I'm pretty sure we can't do anything about the handwriting :)

Slowly gearing up on the 1st day here at Plato Foufas. I keep startling myself because a (plastic) waxwork of a young Frank Sinatra is standing about 3 feet from my desk, and I keep catching it out of the corner of my eye and thinking someone is waiting for my attention. So far I've been filing, typing, moving stuff to where it makes sense for me, and forgetting everyone's names!

I can check my ripco e-mail a couple of times a day, but won't have IM access. I won't have my work e-mail or VM until later today or tomorrow.

I will miss chatting with you daily, but you working is much better than being able to talk to me!!

If anything big comes up I shall email.. heck maybe I will learn to email just because or to catch you up lol!! Thank goodness for lj right?

I am just glad you found a job and praying ti works out really well for you. So what do these folks do? besides stand wax figures up near you?

The company manages/sells/buys real estate. Mostly apartment communities. So far I've been mostly filing and copying - they are WAAAAAY behind on both
