This is Mr. Wrigley. His human has to move, and posted on Craigslist looking for a new home for him.
He is neutered. Like Pepper, they tried to bond him a couple of months ago - in his case it was a minirex - and it didn't work out.

So we have two grumpy minilop mixes going on a date - Sunday afternoon in a pen on the lawn. Could be cute, could be utter disaster. But I have a pen and we both have heavy gloves and good reflexes, so we'll give it a try.

She is up to letting me foster him to make sure they get along - and if in a month it's just not working she'll take him back and refund the adoption fee. She really wants him to be happy.

So wish us all luck - we're gonna need it.

What is it about minilop mutts that they seem to have such tempers with other bunnies?

Trixie was always pissy with everyone but Spunky... Although at the time they met, Spunky was *not* neutered... And I hate to say it, I think all that Trixie needed to chill out was a good... well... I'll be kind and say that after getting him neutered, Spunky couldn't give her what she needed. *chuckle*
