My brother and his wife are expecting. She's just around the end of her 1st trimester - they waited to tell my mom so they could do it in person this weekend at a childhood friend's wedding in NY.

I'll bet Mom is ecstatic. She was asking me when I thought they'd decide to do it when I saw her at their wedding - and the only "grandchildren" she's likely to get on my end have long ears and fur!

So there will in fact be another round of small people with a really long name.

I've always been fond of your description of possible future family gatherings which might involve dancing to something like "Rock Lobster" - "Why is Aunt Wendy rolling around on the floor?"
