wendyzskiWell technically from our room at the Rodeway Inn in Flint - which managed to get us into the right kind of room but also managed to book us in 2 different rooms this weekend. I'll be having words with corporate on Tuesday - we have all the reservations on one piece of paper - the contract I signed with them. So if stuff is messed up, it sure ain't our fault!
Weather today was glorious - sunny and dry, and the crowds were decent and tips not bad. We got Fred "Wenched" which was a lot of fun. Kudos to whoever marked his beard - that mark stayed until he got a shower! I got to Walk with them for a bit which was nice for a change.
Ladyariyanna and kin are coming up tonight. We were going to meet them for dindin but they got a late start and we have a 3-day to get through so we weren't up to waiting for them. We'll just meet up with them tomorrow morning. Jim and Lynn and the kids were here too - it was my first chance to meet the kids they adopted from the Ukraine. Kristina is now 12 and fits Lynn's nobles, and Anton is 6-ish I think. They seem to have settled into a fine happy family.
Schedules were screwed up again - you can't put us at the Maypole at 5:30 when we open the Pub Sing at 6 (and we can't 'just be a little late' because we are traditionally the only act who shows up on time and ready to play)
