Is it soup yet?

Probably not for a day or so!
Thanks to
pensnuggles, I get to make my usual "Polish Pennicillin" aka homemade turkey soup without actually having to make the turkey myself! I have the two carcasses stuffed in my largest stewpot with a seasoning bag (I put my herbs and onion in a gauze bag so I get the flavor without having slimy onion-bits or rosemary needles in my teeth) and hopefully 4-5 hours tonight will be enough to get the carcass good and stewed! Then I'll let it sit in the fridge overnight so I can pick out ALL the bones without burning myself, and then tomorrow night I can simmer it some more and add veggies. Last time I added dried beans, but decided I really don't like them all that much. This time I have some frozen greenbeans and yellow-greenbeans and carrots and peas - I'm trying to decide if I want to add anything else.
stealthbunny suggested little potatoes, but I'm not sure. No rice or noodles because this stuff is destined for the freezer and freezing soup with noodles or rice in it means you have meaty gruel when it thaws - the stuff just splodes and soaks up ALL the liquid. I add that kind of stuff just before serving.
Sigh - Pepper got into the bedroom again. Not sure HOW she levered the gate up and over the screw with the clothespin on it, but she did. I've not looked to see what if any damage she did yet.
