If anyone needs to get in touch with me

either call my cell or e-mail me.

I've stopped answering my landling until after the primary on Tuesday.

Heh. We just got rid of our land line last month.

Though, to be honest, we only had a land line for two months in order to try out AT&T's DSL. We kept the phone unplugged because the only phone calls we got were hang-ups.

(We've now switched to trying out a new direct DSL service that doesn't involve having a land line.)

I have my landline because
1) I still have dial-up for computer access
and
2) My cell is a per-minute plan, so I don't WANT everyone to call it.

I don't have a landline, so I'm getting the political ads on my cell. Although they're pretty obvious from the caller id, it's still annoying.

Not sure how we managed it, but so far our landline, and both of our cellphones have remained ad free.

No landline here either - moving gave us the chance to dump our old phone number and I'm not going back to a wired connection until/unless someone gives me a damned good reason to do so.

And this year's election stuff is just providing all kinds of reasons why not...
