*Squeaks*
I have an appointment next Wednesday after work with a mortgage banker.
I'm going to get a mortgage.
This is something I'm having trouble processing. Even though I've been prepping for months now.
There is a CPAN lottery on 4/1 for a property at Howard and Sheridan with very good pricing under this program, but I have to be preapproved by then.
*shivers* When did I become a grown-up?

Well, I am trying to get into a particular city program for people under the median income which may result in my scoring a newly rehabbed unit for about 60% of list. But for that I have to 1) get a preapproval (to prove I can afford it, and probably a good idea anyway) and 2) use a partner lender who knows about these kinds of programs.
I will probably meet with at least one more bank to find out what programs THEY have (from a slightly DIFFERENT preferred lender list) but once I get all my paperwork in a row it's just a matter of taking the time for the meeting.
