I found Pepper this morning on the kitchen table, eating my muffin. Guess her appetite is back!

Then I was checking my e-mail and I heard scrabbling. I looked over to find her INSIDE the TV cabinet! I have started packing DVDs and there was just enough of a gap for her to wriggle inside - where all the tasty and expensive wires are. Shooed her out and will have to figure out a better fix for this today.

Now she's sitting in her "fort" under the ottoman nibbling on sheet music and trying to dig through the floor. I've only been up half an hour, and I can already tell it's going to be an interesting day.

She's still sneezing a fair amount, and has a soggy snotty nose, but apparently she's at least feeling better after a week back on the chloro-whatsits.

Mine pals around with one of our cats- the two of them ambush one of the other cats all day long- then, when I go to get him out from under the bed or wherever he's hidden, I'll randomly find her stretched out on the couch, with the kitten curled up on the back of the couch like "what? we've been here all day". It's weird, I can tell you that. She'll also lounge in one of the dog kennels (dogs are outside), while the cat chills in the cat tree or window.

She's eating Wendy's clothes, too! Making up for lost time in the mischief department. That'll teach her for depriving poor poor Pepper-kins of the beloved pumpkin-applesauce yummies!

We found that wedging a pillow into those gaps where they could get to the wires seems to work.

"Timid little woodland creature"? I'd like to meet THAT bunny. Ours liked to beat up one of the cats, too. And she would try to kill you if she suspected you had chocolate ...

I have a bevvy of cottontails that I...er... um... sorta... adopted... er... ok, so I have the sucker tattoo and feed them. They may startle and run at the least little thing, but I've also seen them be bullies, and not just to other rabbits. The Battles Between Cotton and Chipmunks still wages.

Pillows? The Phooka laughs at pillows. And then drags them around and deprives the cats of their fluffy softness. And then chews them.

Remember how I said I have the couch folded down, to nap and pack on.

Part of the cover has no padding any more. She really IS making up for lost time!
