Sue Kangas (Clark) - of "Sue and Kevin" at cons, the Naughty Nighty and the Guilty Pleasures parties at conventions, Crow's Nest Beer Wench and long-time supporter of ren-faire musicians - died over the weekend. She had been in poor health for some time, and died while waiting for a lung transplant.

We were sort of on the edges of each other's group of friends for years, so I was a little out of the loop on how ill she really was. Last time I saw her would have been in February I think and she was not looking well but I did not know things were that bad.

Yet another one of those people who are "just always there". Except that she isn't any more.

I somehow managed to hear about this at GenCon. I didn't know her particularly well, but well enough to know who she was and be sad about it.
