Me too me too! I got to lead the 'march' from our campaign headquarters where we had a big pancake breakfast, down to the polling place. It was awesome. 60 people. Plus those who just showed up to vote on their own. And now I'm DONE! No more robo- or other calls. Mind you, still a volunteer/staff member, so I'm not officially off the hook until I'm formally relieved of duty on the Evening of November 4th, but hey, it's still something.

We have it pretty sweet in Chicago - you can early-vote at one location in each ward (usually a library or park field house) or downtown at City Hall M-Sat 9-5 and on Sunday mornings at City Hall only. You don't have to go in your ward - I went to the one 2 apartments ago because it was near the hardware and fabric stores. So really there's pretty much no excuse any more.

Same here! We have early voting in Reno/Sparks at all the county Libraries, and a local grocery chain, and the registrar's office, and a few community centers, and the colleges, and it's 2 weeks long. Plus, you can early vote at ANY location in the county, so you can be across town picking up something on the way to your sister's house, when you see the early vote, and do it right there. The electronic voting still has me wary, but it makes stuff like this possible.

We have electronic voting with with a little paper roll in the side that prints out the results so there is a hard-copy record AND you review both on-screen AND printy results before finalizing your ballot.

Still, I plan to fill out a proper paper ballot on Election Day and ignore all this newfangled electronic stuff and early voting razzmatazz. It's not quite as easy as in spring when I literally walked past my polling place on my way home from work, but it's still easier than going to city hall while Ridge is under construction.

the county where my grandma is does advanced voting in each of the nursing homes - and I had gotten her voters reg in on time so she was able to vote - so i did my best - I added a Missouri swing state vote for Obama
