This is awkward

I have to call ComEd tomorrow and try to force them to let me give them money.
I've just gotten my second bill in a row showing a creidt balance. Now last month's I just assumed was some strange alchemy of the way the old billing/new billing worked out - paying something in advance for the old place and then being credited. I ended up with a check from the phone company for a similar reason.
But taking a closer look at this month's bill, I see the numbers under "previous actual" on 9/27 and "current actual" on 10/26 are the same.
Since I have been using electricity - in part to write this little explanation - clearly there is a meter spinning SOMEPLACE.
And as the person or persons getting that bill are likely at some point to not pay it, and as I rather like continuing to have electricity, it behooves me to call ComEd tomorrow and tell them that someone really ought to come and take a look at that meter they think belongs to my unit. Cuz I'm not sure where they are getting their numbers from but I suspect they aren't correct.
It should be a pleasant change for the person in the call center though.
