I painted my dresser!

and my nightstand!

and my bedframe!

and my elbow...

and my hands...

and 2 of my toes....

and my right boobie......

Yeah - this is why I figure that if I'm going to go ahead and spread newspeper around I might as well do it all at once, make one big mess, and then one cleanup.

Though it looks like I'll have to do 2 coats so I may end up sleeping on the couch because I can't put my bed back together yet.

I'm doing all the furniture in satin black and then the drawer fronts are going to be gloss blue - I'll probably do them tomorrow, since once I put the bed back together I'll have a place to dump out all of the drawers. Those are a spray job.

You painted your shirt or smock over that location, right???? Not directly on the skin??

Actually, it was really warm with the radiators on, so I was working in sweats and a sports bra.

So yes, I really painted my boobie.

How on earth are you managing to do this indoors? Aren't the fumes killing you?

it's brushy enamel, not spraypaint. There is an odor, but not FUMES.

also, I've been opening the bedroom window on and off (yes it's cold out but it's HOT in here) to get fresh air in.

Interestingly, Neutrogena body oil is GREAT for getting paint off as long as you don't let it actually dry. (It's close to dry so I went and pulled up the newspaper - which was NOT close to dry)

Although now I'm trying to figure out what I leaned on to get paint in my armpit....

See, now /I/ think that her long hall floorway would look way cool if she took Pepper, dipped each paw in a different color, and let her run down the hall.
