His main bit was being convicted in a FBI sting operation for major bribery (they called it Tennessee Waltz). He is currently serving time, which he tried to get delayed because apparently he had to take care of his numerous kids because Baby Mamma is also in jail. Even though he wasn't actually doing anything, not living there. At one point, he also tried to get out of paying child support because he was supposedly maintaining residence in 3 households of his kids.

Gotta love abuses of political power. Sigh.
