Aside from 'Fun With Plumbing'
I basically lolled around between fits of housework. I put some new weatherstripping on the back door and recaulked the bathtub last night. I've been working my way through the Sookie Stackhouse books (SFBC omnibus editions at 50% off). I combed about half a pound of fluff off Pepper and trimmed her nails (and got the quick on one when she kicked, so there's a little bunny blood on the couch). stealthbunny. Napped. Watched mindless TV.
Pepper's been a real brat the last couple of days. She started sneezing again this morning (stress from the combings?) and her appetite was off, but it seems better now and she almost took my toe off going after a bit of cheesy-potato that fell off the counter. She heard me talking to my mom on the phone, and since I hardly EVER talk on the phone she came over to see who I was talking to. When I didn't immediately lavish her with pettins she dug at my robe and afgan, then tossed the TV remote off the couch, and finally nipped my elbow! So I've been ignoring her and letting her be sulkybunny.
In addition to the sheets and the vac-bag, my mom also gave me some kind of weird little silicone microwave-thingie that looks like a spaceship. My brother gave me things that were actually on my list! (disposible fountain pens and a ceiling fan). My many-times-removed-ex-bf gave me laser-guided scissors...
I work tomorrow and will probably stop by Target after work to see what the sales look like as I have a gifty-card. And I apparently need another plunger.
