Well, all the stuff that was on sale wasn't quite what I wanted, but I found stuff that will work even better!

The outer gown will be burgundy cotton velveteen. The forepart will be a silver-white metallic cotton tucked in a diamond pattern, with burgundy and black beads at the Xs. Stomacher will be black velveteen machine-stitched in a diamond pattern with silver thread and maybe tiny black beads if I have any skin left on my fingers after doing the forepart. Paned sleeve caps in burgundy with the panes edged in black cord - Ditto for the waist tabs) , and the stuffing is the metallic cotton (without tucks this time). Undersleeves black velvel (still pondering this) with silver stitching. Overskirt will have black velvet trim. I am hoping to find some diamond-shaped silver filigree plaques to put on there as well as one on the front of the stomacher, and maybe some diamond-shaped studs for the sleeve-cap-paned and/or waist tabs.
