they are my friends

I still have a raging ear infection. The drops I got last week helped but by Sunday I was in pain again and by Monday it was worse. The doc didn't call in the prescription until later last night so I have spent most of the morning with stabbing pains in my head at random but worse when I move my head.

started the cefdinir this morning and am experiencing the joys of side effects - mostly occasional nausea, but either the pain is starting to ease up a smidge or the nausea is distracting me.

so apparently i get to ride the antibiotic/probiotic roller coatser for the next week. i wouldn't advise hanging around me as I'm not likely to be much fun at all. I have a letter opener (with tentacles) and I'm not afraid to use it. Possibly on my own head if this doesn't ease up more soon.

Oh, Gods, my sympathies. I have had at least one ear infection a year since I was eight years old, so I know *just* what you're going through right now. A heat pad will help some with the pain, if you have one.

I had one. It fell behind the bed and Pepper nipped the cord off :(

Now that I think about it, I've got a non-electric one that is microwavable to produce heat. This prevents such issues, though it doesn't stay warm forever. Hope the infection clears up soon.
