portraits for a cause

ifeeltoomuch has a bordatella bun who needs extensive medical treatment, and she is running ot of money. Sara is the one who did that awesome pic of Pepper for the holiday card for our first Solstice together.

Now I can't help her with any actual cash (if you can the link is here) but I want to put a plug out for her pet portraits. She does great work, can do work from a photo or photos as well as to spec (I had her add some symbology in). Her website with examples is here.

It's a win-win situation! You get a nifty portrait of your furry friend and she gets money to help little Otter.

Thanks for the info, I'm considering a portrait of Nano Tiny Bird. I mean, I am in love with my bird, and I'm all in favor of supporting people and their pets. Pet illness are so hard.

This is the portrait she did of Pepper.

I wanted to do her as a tarot card, and so the moon phase and the tracks in the snow were added at my request. She did the image (I sent her a couple of digital photos) and I added the borders and lettering. It was my first year in the alt.pets.rabbits card exchange and I wanted somethign special.
