Fresh from the garden! Buts of lettuces, mixed green, dandelion, spinach, marigold, mints, lemon thyme, dill, and lemon balm.
I just put up some mint sugar and there is a mint/lemon syrup cooling on the stove. It's simple syrup with a couple handsful of mixed torn up mint and the zest of a lemon. I think it would be great in iced tea or even plain ice water. Gonna let it cool and then strain it out.
Sigh. I tried to give Moe Moe some mint once. Someone on bunnyowners posted about pleasant mint-scented bunny breath kisses, and I was like OMG I WANT MINTY BUNNY KISSES so I ran out and bought some mint.
I gave it to Moe Moe. He sniffed at it... And he JUMPED backwards, startled! And then... he didn't just give it the Bunny Butt of Ultimate Ignorings. Oh no. He marched RIGHT over to a particular spot on the rug (he's litter trained, remember), looked at me straight in the eye, and PEED. Hotly! Copiously! Deliberately!
And so there will be no minty bunny kisses for me. =( Parsley bunny kisses are nice too though.

Spat it out.
I offered it again.
He gave me the Bunny Butt.
I offered it again.
He took it, hopped over to his litter box, and spat it into the box.
I was told.
