Minty Fresh

I am currently sipping what I have now termed a Mint Fizz. It's a sploosh of my mint/lemon syrup from last night poured over crushed ice and the remainder filled with seltzer water. I expect a lot of these in my future.

It's not all that hot now (we had a hyooge stormfront come through earlier today) but it's humid enough that the tile floor in my kitchen is slippery with condensation. Minty lemon refreshment makes this much better. I can some really good cross-ventillation in here with fans at both ends of the hallway but it's still kind of sticky.

BTW - I found out today that one of the units on the 1st floor is for sale. I found this interesting because we have an action against the current owner for unpaid assessments. Just sent off an e-mail to the property manager and the collections attorney "Did we know about this?" Time to get that lien filed ASAP if it isn't already.

Tomorrow is the Community Garage Sale over at Damen and Lunt. I'll be working the sale table for Red Door and Pepper will be attaracting attention and hopefully donations. The power of cute compells you!

Sunday I'm putting in a couple of hours with I-Go at the Custer Street Fair in Evanston. I'm at booth M-57 and I'm done at 2.

I'll probably turn up on Sunday. I'm encouraged by the fact that I left the house today and was not deluged upon, unlike 5 out of the last 6 ventures I have made outside Da Beehive.
