It's been a hell of a week

COMB has taken it into his tiny little bald head that we need to reorganize the files. We apparently have to do this now because we are likely moving our office (to elsewhere in the same building) in September or so.

However, the upshot is that this project that I have been spending much of the past 7 months has to be utterly undone and redone. All the files I have purged and relabeled? Have to come back up and be put into drawers.

This triples my workload AND implies that I've done everything wrong. I've been hurt and angry about this all week. But apparently the input of the person who actually USES the files is irrelevant.

So I"ve been hibernating.

Ask for half a dozen new fire-proof and secure filing cabinets for the files. There isn't room for them where they were, which is why you were detailed to reorganize them and move them out. Then wait... When he asks why you haven't moved them, ask where the filing cabinets in which to store them are.
