Well new to me at least...
In the move, I managed to lose BOTH the main and spare paddles for my bread machine. I never found them and never got around to ordering new ones (because they've changed the shape so I'd need to order another pan as well).
Well, I was scouting the local Sally Am for a dresser (still haven't found one I like), and I saw a couple of bread machines on the shelf. Picked myself out a Williams Sonoma one, did some basic testing at ther store (like did it power on, did it heat up, etc) and then took it home for $10.
Found the manual online and wow I'm glad I didn't get this thing as a starter because I'd have been so overwhelmed with all the options that I'd never have used it - which is probably why this was donated because it looks barely used. But I've got enough experience to actually USE quite a few of the 86 different cycles available.
Yes - that's right. 86 cycles. All the major bread types in 1lb, 1.5 lb and 2 lb recipes with regular and rapid settings, plus batter breads, fruit AND fruit/nut breads, dough, pizza dough, jam and 6 "custom recipe" settings you can program yourself. The "manual" includes recipes and is 116 pages long - I e-mailed it to myself at work for surreptitious printing.
Now let's just hope the bloody thing works.
