Yeah, today is pretty much fired

Spent more than 4 hours at DHS only to discover that while I qualified for an expedited interview for food stamps I may make $10 too much unemployment per month to actually get them.
Downstairs owner is being annoying and his lawyer is being MORE annoying. This is why we have a lawyer. Dude - you can escrow the money for the repairs until our attorney can figure out who needs to pay for what. The fact that you "don't want to tie up the money" isn't our problem. Now go away and bother someone else.
Boiler is still acting weird. We changed the locks on the basement last night and posted a notice for everyone that "Someone has been fiddling with the boilers. Until we can secure that area properly, we've changed the combination on the basement locks. If you need access to your gas or electric meter, e-mail Wendy". Because we might still have water coming into the system from somewhere and we can't start narrowing down the possibilities until we can confirm that someone isn't fiddling with the dials. Plus the temps are all over the map and the person with the thermostat in her unit is never home, so I can't even tell if it's working.
By the end of the day I was horribly stressed so I bailed on the condo seminar I was going to this evening. Sent them an e-mail asking that when/if they do this one again they keep me in mind.
I have managed to produce a somewhat wobbly square of half-double-crochet after Sunday's panel, though I still pull my stitches too tight. You'd think I was tense about something...
It's cold and damp and while that cramp in my left calf finally went away yesterday it's still achy after 48 hours of tension. At least the amazing influx of Windycon pics is still ongoing.
But I'm going to curl up with a piece of pie and a bunny and stare at the TV for a while.
