• There are bits of trimmed velvet all over my apartment.


• There are pins in the sofa.


• I am missing several layers of skin on my right middle finger. I really need to learn to use a thimble one of these years.


• There is wet trim on my radiator. (I need to pre-shrink it, so I dipped it in boiling water and am letting it dry. Yes I have pictures of "trimmy soup")


• There are little red fuzzies all over the place, and EVERYTHING is covered in a fine red dust from serging velvet. I even sneeze funny colors.

In other words, my gown is almost done. Pouffy-sleeve-caps tomorrow.

mmmm...trimmy soup - one of my favorites! *snicker* Reminds me of the time I had to stop former-bithc-roomie-Deb (remember her?) from tasting the pot of dye I had on the back burner of the stove. Was reeeeeallly tempted just for a sec not to stop her, you know?

*giggle* Yeah, I've had the ... ahem... funny colores sneezes from serging velvet. An odd sensation, to say the least.
