A good shot to see their respective sizes - she's at right about 6.5 lbs (and my foot is a sz 8)
TThis is how she got in on Friday - the pen is set up in the foyer behind the front door, and she shoved the pen aside and worked her way all along the wall until she found where the panels overlapped at back.
I *think( things are going OK with them - a bathtub date over hay had tiny signs of snuggles (or at least sitting head-next-to-head).
She's still trying to push him around, but always by nipping his flank - to me that seems disciplinary rather than attack-mode. Every time she did this I separated them and held her head down briefly like a dominant rabbit would, to indicate that this is not acceptable behavior.
Lasted about 20 minutes and then everyone went home

Date: 2012-08-07 01:26 am (UTC)Every day, Winslet gets to spend some time in the kitchen while Izzy gets to run around the living room for an hour or so. He's also a small bunny, so it's more room than he had at the shelter.
Tonight I put them both in the bathtub and made scary noises to try and get them to cuddle, like people do at scary movies. Then they got some time to run around in my bedroom (which Winslet isn't allowed into so she doesn't think it's "her territory") Winslet nipped and chased him, but i squirted her in the face with a squirt bottle when she did that - it's OK to let Izzy know that she is in charge, but not to be mean about it. I have to watch them together to make sure they don't fight too much and that no one gets hurt.
Afterwards, they each got a treat and some time on their own, and I will be sure to pet both of them a lot to let them know I still love them
