Yep, I'm officially broken
Jan. 13th, 2007 01:37 pmThey are ordering me a nebulizer.
I can (sort of) the fact that I need 8 meds to remain upright and breathing.
But the fact that I now need "durable medical equipment"...that's scary.
This development is brought on by the fact that I trotted into the doc today to ask if I could switch back to my old Pulmicort inhaler. The Asmanex is nice but it's irritating my throat like Advair does, I've had a constant need to clear my throat for the past month, and doing so is destroying my voice. Also I woke up at 2am to pee and there was something "stuck" in the bottom of my right lung. No wheeze until a really deep breath, and then the sensation of something "pulling" accompanied by a whistling wheeze. Last time I felt one of these it was a bit of nasty the size of my thumbnail when I finally choked it out.
You know, I was doing fine till that horrible bronchial infection I went though in mid-late October. I wonder what happened.
