Merry Measure did it's first recording this afternoon. With the assistance of Pete Pollack and the intermittent cooperation of the other groups rehearsing and recording at Artist In Residence this afternoon, we were able to get down the five tracks that will be our demo.

Despite having been ill and still not recovered, I don't think I did too badly. I didn't have the power or support that I am used to in my voice, but the range seems to still be there, and nothing hurts - only thing is that I'm still short of breath and my gut muscles are a bit sore.

AND I got home to a nice quiet apartment. Pepper didn't decide to take up hang-gliding in my absence or anything. Poor thing is going through a shed and looks all patchy and grumpy - I'll bet it's itchy.

When is this going to STOP?

I know it's good that I am getting the really thick old crud out of my lungs, but at some point you'd think it would be DONE, right? I am getting really tired of coughing fits that leave me doubled up with streaming eyes and aching ribs.

I am taking all my meds when I should, I am drinking lots of liquids, and I am keeping my apartment humidified. I'm resting when I have to and trying to start getting mobile so I can actually start getting "better" instead of just "not worse".

Just very frustrated right now.
