The wheels on the bus go round and round

at least I hope so. It's a veritable heat wave of 19 degrees out today (20 degrees above yesterday) so I'm off to spend an afternoon justifying my monthly pass.

I have to

• Stop by chez ashtalet to make sure it's still there
• Pick up more bunny-meds (we're out and her recheck isn't till next Saturday)
• Make a run through the exhibit rooms at the CAI (Community Associations Institute) trade show at the Hyatt O'Hare

and probably 3-4 things I'll think of once I'm out there.

Then back home to hopefully get a couple of projects (hang shelves, build hay bun, configure new studio bunny-door) done.

ThumpFest

I think I have figured out the cause of Pepper's random 2-4AM thumpfests. She will be in the kitchen and will runrunrunrun-skid-runrun under the bed and then THUMP for about 5 minutes. Clearly something was startling her.

Today I saw a mouse run under the dishwasher.

That would explain things.

Anyone have a cat I can borrow?
