much cooler today
Jun. 21st, 2009 04:23 pmI still put the air conditioners in the windows last night because it was so bloody humid, and the coolest high temp for the upcoming week is 85, blech.
Made the first batch of ice cream last night - vanilla. Should have let the bowls chill longer but I was impatient so it only got the the stage of a nice thick milk shake. After firming up overnite it has a texture more like italian ice than ice cream, but still tasty and refreshing. Next step - lime sherbert.
