...in spite of the fact that none of them were what I had PLANNED on getting done....
Woke early to find that Pepper wasn't feeling well - she didn't come out for her breakfast-dance although when I brought food and water to her (under the couch) she ate everything. So I decided to stay in and monitor her to make sure we didn't have a vet trip in store.
Took some brief naps, and did a LOT of cleaning. Fixed the silverware drawer. Scrubbed out the sink, swept and mopped the kitchen. Had to build a new hay rack, as Pepper had partially disassembled the old one. This one is made of 3/8" plywood so she's not likely to get through that any time soon!
Did a lot of general picking up and toted some stuff(like my papasan chair) down to the storage locker. Brought up a nice old wood/leather recliner that had been left in the basement for who knows HOW long and started in to restore it. A couple of rounds of saddle soap took off the worst of the grime and I pinpointed the places it needs restitching. Will have to pick up a new set of heavy needles but I have plenty of scrap leather for patching the under-assembly.
I own three hammers and can't manage to find one of them. Grrrr.
Pepper finally came out from under the couch about 5:45 and was pretty enthusiastic about her dinner so things look good on that front. Between her chronic pasteurella and the fact that she's in a pretty serious moult which always makes her cranky and moody, I guess she was just feeling out of sorts. Still, you can't be too careful with bunnies - if they don't eat for 24 hours their guts can shut down and they just die.
