Marcon just asked me to be a Masquerade judge!
I'm already doing 4 slots worth of panels when I'm only required to do 3. (Since Iron Costumer is a 2-slot event it counts as two panels).
I told them that I'd do it if they pulled me off the Sunday "So You Wanna Be A Pro" panel, which is the one I'm least excited about.
EDIT: OK - I'm off the Sunday panel, and set as a Masquerade judge. BTW - I like chocolate and hard cider....

Date: 2006-05-18 11:53 pm (UTC)Most conventions want 3 panel slots for a free membership and green room access. Usually, judging a masquerade counts as one slot. Most cons don't offer rooms to panelists, though some may let you crash in the Gopher Hole.
I've been a masquerade judge at 2 Duckons, a Windycon, a ComGlomeration, and a Tardis.
