work crap

I called in sick yesterday. I started feeling sick to my stomach around 10AM on Tuesday, but by early morning yesterday I was very nauseated and had stomach cramps. I called in around 7 and told them I was taking meds and going back to bed. Then I fell asleep on the couch, and did not wake until 1:30.

Because I did not call back after 9 I was written up and am suspended for 2 days. Franky, one day is awesome, because I still feel like crap and haven't eaten anything more substantial than oatmeal. The second day is just annoying - their answer to being inconvenienced because I am not there is not hot have me there for 2 days? Whatever...

So I'm going to start looking for a job again. I'm bloody tired of this crap.

There are some company policies I just don't get. You called in once, why should you have to call in a second time?

Their policy is tat you have to call in after 9 and talk to an actual person. The fact that I was asleep on the floor at 9AM doesn't seem to have gotten through to them. Next time i"ll just come in and throw up on them.

*Patpats* Poor Pepper's-momma. I'm so sorry they're being such jerks. When you get back, be sure you COUGH on EVERYONE! Except the pregnant one. She's got enough problems just being preggers, I s'pose.
