work crap

I called in sick yesterday. I started feeling sick to my stomach around 10AM on Tuesday, but by early morning yesterday I was very nauseated and had stomach cramps. I called in around 7 and told them I was taking meds and going back to bed. Then I fell asleep on the couch, and did not wake until 1:30.

Because I did not call back after 9 I was written up and am suspended for 2 days. Franky, one day is awesome, because I still feel like crap and haven't eaten anything more substantial than oatmeal. The second day is just annoying - their answer to being inconvenienced because I am not there is not hot have me there for 2 days? Whatever...

So I'm going to start looking for a job again. I'm bloody tired of this crap.

Good luck with the job hunt. I understand about stupid corporate policies. I have been trying to get my company (a computer leasing company)to "officially" sell Dell products for the last six months. During those six months, we purchased over $1 million worth of Dell equipment. Needless to say, the company does not want to "officially" sell Dell. Go figure...

Yes it is he - Former lord of the UncomfaCouch, now living up in Madison. Younger bro (and my former roomie) is up in Canada someplace now.

Granted, it has been a few years, but the afro should be a dead giveaway. Admittedly, the beard changes things, but I don't think I've changed THAT much. 8-) Hi there!
