Kitchen is clear

It's been 12 hours since I last saw a moth (Though I will keep looking for a few more days).

All remaining flour and rice has been kept in the freezer since Sunday and today I sifted all the flours and went through all the rice before putting it in either ziplock bags or closed cannisters.

And didja know that some grains of Minute Rice get a little toasted or something in processing? The first few little white things with black specks on the end panicked me a bit, but they ALL turned out to be just plain old rice. (Yes, generally I prefer "real"rice, but the minute stuff is great to toss a handful into plain soup or broth or for making quick wraps)

No sign of life in the remaining foodstuffs so I think I'm OK.

Though I'm waiting till we get below freezing to take the back-porch trash down to the dumpster, just in case... *shivers*

Personally I can't stand the taste of Minute Rice - it just tastes WRONG to me.

Oh, yeah, that's such a PIA. There are these little trap things from Gardens Alive! that work well to catch the occasional stray that gets into the house through paper bags or grocery boxes.
