Exchanged several e-mails with this person already. I just received this:
> Are you still working at Plato? Salary requirement? Availability to meet
> with me?
>
> Thanks-
>
> Scott Fischer, CPC Esquire Staffing

My reply:
My last message indicates that I am only available to meet outside of standard working hours because my employer is not aware then I am seeking other opportunities.

My salary requirements were in the initial cover letter.

As it seems clear that you are not actually reading my replies, please remove me from your prospect list.

Sigh

Recruiters can either be good or they can be bad. Unfortunately inmy industry I almost cannot avoid them!

Good luck in your search.

in mine, they are generally useless. I have tested/met with probably 2 dozen over the years and only one even sent me on a single interview for a job I wasn't qualified for.

well. if you want a job you may need to put up with recuriters.

i would have said
"as stated in my cover letter: i can only meet with you outside of business hours, my salary requirements did not change"
because the question could be read as "ok, i want to meet with you. now lets set up a time"

also the office doenst often forward the cover letter to the individual recruiter, so all they GET is the resume...

Recruiters really aren't much use to me - I've registered/tested/etc with at least 2 dozen over the years and only one even sent me on an interview.

And I KNOW the cover letter was forwarded because it was attached below his message.

*sigh*

Did he not read it, or was he too lazy to go back and look, or what??

*feh*

I tried to use them once. Horrible. They kept trying to place me in a position I explicitly stated I did not want.
