I'm a bio-weapon

Be nice to me or I'll touch you!
I'm at work today, since the room only spins slightly when I close my eyes now. I think the upstairs neighbor has gotten rid of the hippo, but they turned up the volume on the CTA announcements. And of course, I happened to be standing right next to a fixture when the fire alarm test went off at 8:50 AM. I think I screamed.
I have spent much of the last two days pondering if it would be less painful to simply scoop out the contents of the left side of my head. I eventually decided that while it would, the resulting drool would be unsightly.
I had some REALLY wierd dreams the last few days, like...
Yep - welcome to the wierd world of Wendy.

I had some REALLY wierd dreams the last few days, like...
- I had a long talk about life with an ex-boyfriend of mine, except he had different hair.
- They were building an IKEA near the house where I lived in NJ. It had a 2-story parking garage, but to go down you had to get out of the car and push a big lever to change the ramp, kind of like those old Playschool playsets.
- I caught a mouse in my apartment in a little bowl, but there was some water in the bottom of the bowl and it dissolved. I was sad.
- I was taking a cab to an address on Rockwell (which I think is the address of a friend's old apartment, but at the time I thought it was a recording studio). I fell asleep in the cab, and the driver took me to Brockwell instead. He wouldn't admit that he was wrong, and just drove off- I didn;t even pay him. It was a really nasty neighborhood, and I was trying to explain the situation to an old fat bald white guy but he wasn't listening. He was scary.
Yep - welcome to the wierd world of Wendy.

Date: 2004-01-08 03:44 pm (UTC)1. Shopping.
2. Finding my way around a new hotel (or sometimes a new school) and/or checking in for a convention.
3. Moving into a new space and arranging furniture.
4. Trying to travel somewhere and having trouble with cars, the el, airlines, buses, stairs, escalators, or standing in line.
5. Weird interpersonal stuff, usually with acquaintances or celebrities, that is a complete substitute for sex.
And your last dream sounds familiar. When we were visiting Jake's aunt in Oakland, CA, we had one Jamaican cab driver who misheard our request for "Scott" street as "Scout" street, and took us WAAAAY out of our way up into the California hills! It was a pretty drive, anyway!

Urgh - I hate when that happens. Worse, of course, when you're head is all stuffed with ... uh... nevermind....
