Barring some really unexpected absentee ballot results, it looks like I'm stuck with my old alderman for another term.
If we're lucky, he will realize that winning by 138 votes (1.8% of the vote) might indicate that people weren't real thrilled with the job he's been doing, and that maybe the other guy had a couple of really good ideas.
Then again, this IS Chicago, after all....
